Short-term student exchange

The last meeting of the students and accompanying teachers took place in Gimnaziala Romanu Braila in Romania. Project participants from Greece and Italy joined virtually, Lithuanian and Polish team arrived in physical mobility. The main purpose of this mobility is to share good experiences, develop students' basic communication skills, teamwork and critical thinking through board games. The week began with presentations of project teams, familiarization games, a quiz about Romania, joint sports activities. Participants presented popular board games from their country, discussed their advantages and tested them by playing in international groups. The school also organized a chess tournament and an orienteering game "Photo Hunt" in the city of Breila. Students participated in an English lesson and played the game "Roll and Say", in which both those sitting in the classroom and those connected remotely participated actively. At the end of the week we went to the city of Galati, which is located on the left bank of the Danube, near the border with Moldova and Ukraine. We traveled by boat, listening to the guide's stories and admiring the natural landscapes surrounding the Danube Delta. Throughout the week, students worked in international groups, which encouraged them to share ideas, exchange information and communicate in a foreign language. At the end of the week, each group presented their experiences, gained knowledge in the chosen form, made a self-assessment and discussed the results of the project. We look forward to learning through international cooperation, sharing ideas and experiences
