ICT tools can be used regardless of the subject taught. They allow to bring out the creativity of students, while contributing to building in them a sense of responsibility for learning. In our schools, children start their adventure with coding from an early age. Programming develops creativity and logical thinking. During a pandemic, it is also a big plus that you can learn from home and what is important especially for children - combine learning with fun. Programming classes contribute to the development of logical and analytical thinking. They have a good effect on the exercise of imagination, as well as independent coping with problems. A lot of time was devoted to coding and programming on the occasion of
Code Week, which was organized in our schools. On this occasion, students visited preschoolers and taught programming in the
Scratch Jr program, together they created simple animations. Others used the
WeDo program and
Lego bricks,
Ozobots, Mbots, Blubots and
Beebots. Teachers use more and more programs and applications in their work, which is especially helpful in online work. In order to enrich their work and skills, they also had many trainings.
